Non-washable Part: main pump unit

The main pump unit of a breast pump is an important, non-washable component. It is responsible for drawing milk from the breasts and transferring it into the milk bottle. It is essential to keep this unit clean and dry to ensure its proper functioning and longevity. A clean, damp cloth can be used to clean the main pump unit, ensuring that the area remains dry and free of residue. Any other cleaning method may be considered misuse under the warranty.

Regular cleaning of the washable components that come into contact with milk helps prevent the build-up of dried milk residue, which can lead to the growth of bacteria that can be harmful to both you and your baby.

After each use:

Clean washable components:

1.Soak the washable components in a mild cleaning solution for two minutes and rinse under clean running water.

2.Alternatively, you can clean the components directly with drinking water or purified water.

3.Another option is to place the washable components on the top shelf of the dishwasher.

Once per day:

Sterilize washable components:

1.Boiling is an effective method of sterilization. Boil the washable components in water for five minutes, ensuring that the water is deep enough to completely cover the parts. During the boiling process, be sure to stir the accessories occasionally to prevent deformation caused by uneven heat distribution.

2.We do not recommend using a microwave or steam sterilizer. Please be aware that some steam and microwave sterilizers reach high temperatures that may risk warping plastic parts.

3.Ultraviolet sterilization is also not recommended.

Always ensure that all components are completely dry before assembly to prevent bacterial growth and mold formation. It is essential to follow the manufacturer's instructions and maintain good hygiene practices to ensure safe and effective breast milk extraction for your baby.
